Orchard Pick Your Own!

The Farm Stand is open for the season. Farm Stand hours are 10AM - 5PM daily, but you may also purchase fresh fruit on the porch of the farm stand from 8AM - 6PM daily on the "honor" system.. This week you can PYO Ginger Gold Apples. PYO prices are $8.00/peck and $15.00/half bushel. Also for sale this week are pre-picked Paula Red Apples, a few varieties of Plums (Stanley Prune, Damson & Green Gage Plums)and juicy, succulent Nectarines. We also have fresh picked tomatoes, cukes, peppers, squash and pumpkins! Nectarines are $8.00 for 5 lbs. Apples are $6.50 per 1/2 peck (or $9.00 per 1/2 bushel for cooking apples.) Plums are $3.00 per pint (about 1 pound) Due to the frost in May, we lost part of our apple crop, so not every apple variety will be available for picking this year. Here is a tentative PYO schedule for the varieties that will be available for picking: Ginger Golds: Sept. 28 & 29 * Macs: Sept. 4 (Hopefully) & 10 * Cortalnds & Galas: Sept. 11 & 18 * Macouns: Sept. 25 * Fortune: Oct. 2 * Northern Spy: Oct. 9. (These are listed by weekend dates but you will be able to pick during the week following, as well.) We will also have other varieties that we have hand-picked for sale in the farm stand.
